The snowplow self-propelled machine Buran is designed for snow removal. Structurally, the snowplow is a chassis of a wagon layout, which has the ability to rotate the upper frame with the working equipment installed on it (rotary and plow) relative to the lower frame at an angle of 180 degrees.

The machine is equipped with an automatic fire detection and extinguishing system ASOTP and an automated control and management system ASKUM. The windshield is equipped with a system to prevent freezing and fogging of the windows in the most severe frosts. The car is equipped with LED floodlights and signal lights. The width of the snowplow is 3100 mm. The width of the rotary snowplow in the working position with expanders and extended rotors, mm - 4700.

The plow equipment consists of a gauge plow designed to clean the inter-rail space, including below the level of the rail head and is used in conjunction with rotary equipment.
